They catch 30"+ trout pretty regularly in Baffin Bay jsut south of here. I go there occasionaly when the water is up - otherwise it's shallow with rocks and it's not the place you go if you don't know your way around. I hope to get a pic in here one day:

26in is one fine "freckled trout", aka "Gator trout".

Took a day off from school on Thursday and had a GOOD day drifting the Laguna Madre in my 171. The trout is 26", a personal best ... The others are a couple of 18's and a 21 and a 22. the reds are 21 and 24. The Laguna's a great place for inshore: trout, red, drum and flounder.
