I wish I would have tiled my show, but trying to meet a deadline and budget, I just put a drop-in in it

Wow Greg the house is looking really nice. I love all the bricks and the tile. I really want to get into this myself but still hunting for the right peice of property.

Love the party shower idea too, not many of us are as lucky as you.[]

Looking great Greg. I've had 2 propane bills at $700 this winter for my little 1800 square foot house! We have the water heater, stove and furnace hooked up to it though. Been getting a few stripers here and there. Let me know when you are ready for that break!

Dave, the only reason I have been able to make this move is because I've spent many years living below my means. The wife is one who is not shallow and has to be "kept" either. We both come from humble families and learned great life lessons along the way. The property market here in NorCal is still in the crapper but has stabilized. Many folks with the itch to upgrade are still facing reality of making that payment and getting out of them through foreclosure. I was able to pick up this gem after looking for a year+. We have a long way to go but the trip will be worth it.

And yes, I'm very lucky to have a wife who see's the brighter side most times.

Chuck, thanks brother. Glad to see you getting those purty machines bloody! I'm afraid if I went out w/ you now, I'd be asleep by the time we hit the ramp!![B)] Soon though, thanks!!

                        • Well we made our deadline for County Sign Off. It was a bloody battle. 8 days straight of 8am to midnight. My Uncle and Cousin came down to help and really saved my ass. We had to get Final Inspection by County and Bank by the 24th to meet const loan conditions.

My little Cousin. Not too many 20yo's would do that kind of hours. Kid really worked his butt off and learned a few things too []

Has to call in reinforcements the last day before Final.

2 solid 16hr days laying hardwood. I havent been able to straighten up yet.

                          Master Shower done

We still have a lot to do before its move in ready. I told the wife, maybe 4th of July [] [B)]
