  • January Phins! Great Start to 2019

Talked the kids into a short day for a shot at some dolphin. Normally way to cold but the water was still 78.5 degrees. Lets see if we can get one. The deal is we dont leave early. Left the house at 8:15. Launched at 9:45

Passed the inlet to a nice ocean

Lines Deployed at 11:05. Basic 4 rod set up with a dredge

Worked my way out to some structure

Get to and bang Small but tasty

Selfie time with my middle daughter

Oldest was asleep- Even got sun burnt. No one wanted to listen to me

Ended with 4 for 5 on Phins and 0/1 on Sails. Lines out at 3pm/

Steve it is off the aft corner. 28 oz trolling weight in front about 25-30 ft back. Below the surface to where I can just see it. Tie it off to the cleat.
