  • Early Season Trolling- Canaveral

Found a nice weather break to see if we can find some early season Phins.

    Sunrise offshore was nice

Lines in at 150 ft and 75 degree water. Outrigger pops in a pink/white daisy chain

Quick fight as a nice phin jumps and spits hook

Not the best picture but I got to release a sail for the first time. They are stronger then I thought

Chip made the trip for the first time

Trolling got a little slow so birthday boy took a rest

Overall is was a great day fishing. Catching was hard

We went 1-3 on dolphin, one sail and 12 bottom fish for tacos. The bite all came on the outriggers and we had a ton of short strikes tearing through the bait

Way to get out there and make something happen man. I bet you were loving all that extra space! I'm ready for the dolphin to start showing up this way.
