  • Florida Fishing with OB1Jeeper....

Steve and Karen came over to Venice FL from Arizona last week for a visit...We had great times and even got out on the gulf to fish a day..Steve and I met on this forum back in 2004 and have been good friends ever since. Over the years we have fished many times together, Jeeped together and worked on all kinds of equipment. We both attended the 2008 Mako funament in Destin with my son Tim....where has time gone...We ended up with 80 fish yesterday, we kept 36, and sent Steve and Karen home with 8 packages of fish. He has a portable freezer in his truck. Wonderful days had with a great old friend from Classic Mako......

Was good to catch up with Brenda & you Dave... It's a shame we live so damned far apart as we could find all sorts of mischief to get into if we lived closer...

5,000 mile round trip in the old Dodge... Turned 440,000 about three hours before getting home...

PS: We had our first "Fresh Florida Fish" dinner tonight... Karen grilled some up on the George Foreman grill, and we made burrito's with them... YUMMMMMMMM....
