  • Friday Night Mangos out of Johns Pass

We left late Friday night due to a storm front pushing through.

    Nice ideal ride out

At the ramp at 9:40 pm and off we went for the bait. Here is a shot fo the lights at Johns pass

Quick Note- Got me some HUK boots. Man these are comfortable and was nice to have dry feet all night.

Got to the spot 30 miles out with Pinfish, sand perch, sardines, squid, and greenies. We got excited about the show

    Good start

    Great Sunrise

Just before sunrise I was swimming a live pinfish way back in the chum slick. Something grabbed it and off it went. Tightened down the drag palmed the reel did everything I could It was fast and strong. 400 yards of braid and backing gone in 90 seconds. I guess a move to an 8000 class will be next
