  • Quick Trip to the Gulf

Decided since my middle daughter was in a softball tournament (Pitcher and Slap hitter) in GA this past weekend I would take the oldest out for some fishing.

Had my oldest unload the boat, dock it and drive us off. Fun watching them get more confidence with such a vessel.

Great view of Johns Pass at 7am

Buddy caught a personal best Lane Snapper. 4.2lbs and 20.5inches. I actually had to look up state record as I have not seen one this big.

Yes that is correct on a gulp shrimp in 90ft

    Great ride in

    Blackened Yellow Tail Snapper

My catch was not impressive but we caught a lot of grouper and ARS. Kept us busy.

Nice report Marc. Do you get a lot of Yellowtail in your area? I thought they were more down around the keys.
