New to the forum. I was looking for a project boat a few years ago and decided to find a 25 mako. Finding this site gave me tons of info that help this choice. Finding one was the problem. I looked for almost 2 yrs. They would come up for sale and where usually gone before I had a chance to look at them. Then 3 blocks from my house on a street I never go down ,I find one on blocks. Two months later ,after persuading the owner to sell I brought it home. I made him a promise it would see the water again and I would take him fishing. Thats what it took and he had serious sellers remorse.

Early on the boat was rode hard and did most of its fishing in the northeast canyons. The guys that owned took good care of it but I knew going in it needed full restoration.

Im two years into the rebuild and have a ton of pics for a project thread that I'll get started shortly.

By the way, Boats in the Villas NJ and we run out of cape may well not on my boat yet
