I posted in the discussion section but I didn't see this section so.... I'm Warren, I'm in central Florida, my family loves the water and I've been offshore fishing since I was 4. Today I bought my first Mako. It's a very nicely redone Tuppens 231. It's the 3rd boat I've owned and hopefully it'll be my last one for many years to come. If anyone is ever in my neck of the woods let me know. I'm always looking for an excuse to go fishing.

We mostly fish out of Fort Desoto. But I also have a bunch of numbers out of Clearwater. The new HDS 7 that was on the boat is absolutely loaded with numbers from Tarpon Springs to Cedar Key and all the keys. Plus Daytona to Jacksonville

Welcome to the forum Warren, beautiful boat. 231's are hard to beat. Let me know if you ever make it up to St Augustine.

Looks like I'll be fishing Friday. Going out of Bellaire. Probably north off Tarpon as that seems to be free of red tide. Sme reported kings shallow off the beaches. Also Thredfins schooling .GOOD LUCk!
