Mako Model?

Hello All,

Looking to find out what model I have recently purchased. Anyway i can find out with the Vin if i contact Mako?

Hi Scott & welcome to CM! The HIN is usually on the outside of the transom on the starboard side. Some members have found a secondary number under the rubrail but there should also be a number up in the front hatch looking aft on the backside of the bulkhead. Post up a picture and we can tell you what model you have. Once you get the HIN, you can post it in the History Q&A thread in the discussion forum, and the son of the founder of Mako Marine, Brett aka TrippleBogey can give you some detailed information as to when it was manufactured.

edit - just saw your post on fb. You have a 254.

Here is a link to the manual for your boat, but don't expect after 33 years it to still be in the stock configuration, nor by today's standards would the stock configuration even be the best solution either. Post questions in the discussion forum when you have them and you will get a lot of responses.

Sailor, Thanks for the welcome. Below is the number i found inside of the anchor locker in the bow.
