You came to the right place!
1) By the center piece in the bow, I am assuming you are talking about the in floor fishbox at the base of the forward seats? For floor support, Mako injected foam to support areas under the upper cap.
2) fitting around the fuel tank? I am assuming you are talking about the coffin cover over the fuel tank and what caulk to use around the seam? You want to use 4000UV or Life Caulk.
3) can't help with that question...yet but the general consensus is higher is better. At least this is an easy one to change if you get cavitation or blow out. Try posting this question in the Discussion forum as the new member section doesn't get a lot of views.
Looking forward to pictures. Are you hanging the 300 on the transom or do you have a bracket?

the one above the fish box in bow the 25 have 2 slots in the front seating so i think it is steel rods
yes got it back today with a well use df300
tanks and transom next

Can you post a transom view of your boat in the water with the DF300 mounted? I'm interested in seeing where the scuppers/water level are with a transom mounted DF300.
