    First Boat/New '81 Mako 17 Owner

    Hey just picked up my first Mako 17 a couple weeks ago. Looking forward to getting it on he water after the engine gets put back together. Im assuming itll be a work in progress for years to come, if Im anything like the rest of you on here! Below are some pics after a nice pressure wash and bleach bath. Picked it up after sitting in storage for a couple years and the owner didnt have any more time for it.

      What a piece of shit. I would sell it to whoever owns that house that it is parked at in those photos!

                          He didn't buy it from me. I am just helping him get it going. He brought it over to clean it up, pull out the old fuel, and make a list of things to get done.

                              Haha thanks Sailor! And yeah thejeepguy has taken on the task of guiding me through the joys of project-boat ownership. Gathering parts for the boat and trailer now and will do what we can once it comes back from the shop.
