    Hi. I have been lurking for a while, I bought a 98 232 last year and have been slowly going through it and cleaning it up. Ill post pictures later as I go.

      98 Johnson 250, rebuilt sea star steering, trim and tilt and Im working on stripping the old bottom paint, replacing all switches and gauges and re wiring the console. I need to cut the bracket to remove the foam, found another thread that suggested pulling the anode bolt and sure enough it started dripping.

        I assume factory bracket? Most have moved away from foam filled brackets and built the largest tub possible for flotation. Congrats again on the purchase
