Hi all! New to the community. trying to figure out how to post pics of my Mako "Million Dollar 171" a true one of a kind. it has quite a story to it and wanted to see what you all thought about this boats' history. apparently built by the CEO of Mako for his father before the company went public. what i was told (maybe you all can shed some light) is that they closed the plant down while they built this and lost over 1 million in production which is why it was called the million dollar Mako. I don't believe there is another like her. once i can figure out how to post pics i will. thanks!

      Welcome.

One of the Schwebke family (Brett) is active on the "Mako History" thread in the Mako Discussion forum. He might be able to fill in some more details on the history of your boat.
