New member, unknown Mako

Hello,

I recently bought a boat trailer that came with a project Mako but I don’t know much about the boat. Can anyone help me ID it? It’s 18’ and change transom to bow so I assume it’s a 184, the trailer is a 1991 so I’m also assuming the boat is around the same (I’m doing a vessel registration search).

But it has an I/O mercruiser (I’m assuming it’s a 120, I found a 153 on the block). I can’t find any Makos with I/O motors other than 25’. It doesn’t look like it has been modified, but I haven’t really dug into it yet.

what is the HIN?

That doesn't look like any Mako I've ever seen. I think there was a 'Mako something' being made in the 80s that was using the name but not associated with the Schwebkes or Tracker.

I’m still looking for the HIN, it should be on the reg papers, just waiting on those.
