  • New to CM, looking for info

Hello there CM fans everywhere, new to the site, looking for info on my 1990 MAKO 285 WA OB layout. Already know it weighs 6,000lbs has a 9'10" beam, deadrise 24", fresh water capacity~25g, fuel capacity~300g, transom hgt~30", max hp~600, LOA~31'.

Already know its a rare model, most this size were dual console, or center console layouts OB powered models. Some models this size were IO's. Great looking solid true Blue water machine. Looking for hull fabrication methods materials used, have system prints of the smaller 25' WA to compare, but there's nothing available for these monster model WA's. If anyone has a source of info to share, would appreciate it! Thanks!

Welcome to CM. Here is the manual for the 285. The 284 is the center console version. Is yours the side console or center console? the 285 is a favorite and quite the fishing machine. Post up some pics and let's see her!

As for hull fabrication - are you making a repair? If so, post in the projects section and you will get more views on your question.
