Just bought my second mako. Need to rewrite. Any pictures or suggestions? Should I keep the battery's in the rear storage bins. Missing the pull out storage bins above the battery's Any help wher I can buy

I would move them to the console. Get all the weight you can to the center. As far as bins go I was bale to build a mold to fit and popped a few fiberglass bins out and they have worked well. I am not sure of anyplace left to buy them. You can try www.Greatlakesskipper.com or marine liquidators in Ft. Pierce.

Congrats on the purchase. I love my 224

In the stern of the boat there are 3 drain holes that go through the transom. Made out of copper. They are rotted in the center measure 1 1/4" diameter. Any ideas on how to replace?

Sorry just back and I will respond with pics in the next day or so. The holes are deck drains. You can replace with Pvc- Sand the PVC and coat with resin and stick it in the hole. sand smooth any extra and seal the edges.

these are the first try at them. They hav ehld up great for what I use them for.

            Some aft wiring
