  • New Mako 17 owner in MA

    Greetings,

Just joined site and am amazed with all the great info here. Just bought an 84 Mako 17 for my boys to use on the South River this summer. Great boat very impressed. Only issue is the usual scuppers letting water in as boat repowered w Yamaha 115 4 stroke FI. She sits low so will try the plugs while we run, some weight in the bow, and maybe ping pong ball scuppers!

Not too familiar with the 17 but if the batteries are in the stern move them under the console
