In spirit, I have been here for years....

I own the 1973 Mako 22 that I grew up on. This forum has been extremely valuable in the maintenance and repower of that boat. There is no doubt in my mind that over the years, it has made HUNDREDS of crossings from Fort Lauderdale to Bimini. Once it's in Bimini, it is the perfect shallow draft bay boat. Grandpa always said that it would run in wet grass. Crazy little boat.

Now, I am on the hunt for a Classic 261 or 261b. Looking for the deal of the century. South Florida is Mako country and my search is getting warmer. It's taken some time, but now I even have my wife excited. (My sons have been on board since day 1)

Anyway, love the community, proud to be apart of it.
