  • 1988 231 Deck drain problems

I have a 1988 231 CC that has deck drains in the rear that look like drain covers you would have in your shower at home. They have been working fine until recently. Now they drain slow or almost not at all. I have tried backwashing but doesn't seem to help. Anyone else ever have this problem or know if the center will unscrew to possibly give access for better cleaning?

    Thanks for any advice

I believe they should unscrew, I used two screwdrivers in the past and did it on my 261
