    Well, not exactly.

Im involved in an attempted three way trade. Im the pivot man.

    I will be the owner of a 96 23'

I dont know what that year's model number is , but its a 221b. Closed transom 225 merc opti.

Id been looking around for one for awhile, and regardless of the stated porposing ,engine height issues, I'll give it a shot.

I run to Stellwagon Ledge,Ma. and Jeffrys so hopefully its the boat for me.

Any new info, dos donts would be helpful.

And lastly . any ideas of open market value? For trade consideration.

There is all new canvas.Nice trailer. And the pics look quite good, though i'll be in the bilge today. Im guessing theres always issues.

    Thanks Steve

Welcome! That's a very nice model that you are looking at and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase one. Look for the usual issues with any wood core boats - weak transom, soft decks around mounting points, etc. Plus old wiring and have the motor checked out.
