  • New member and new Mako 22

Hi all, been snooping around here and what a wealth of information. I just recently bought a 1976 Mako 22 with an 86 Johnson 235 that has new power heads, rebuilt carbs, new water pump and runs great. The boat is in great shape and very clean minus some TLC, the only real problem is the soft floor. Hard to turn down as I got boat motor and trailer for 1200$ from a good friend. I cant see how its not worth it. The floor may get tackled this winter or even next, not bad enough to have to do right away I can get some good fishing in first. Took it out yesterday and did pretty well in the 3-4' bay rollers and the motor is strong and smooth. I'll try and get some pics up when I figure out how to...........[^]
