First off Hi everyone! This is my first Mako and first center console. I am very excited and think I got a good deal. I'm not quite sure if it is a 78 or 79. Anyway I paid $4500 and the motor runs great. The motor is a 1987 and the previous owner said the stator is new as well as the shift/ throttle cable, steering cable and power trim pump. The floors in the boat all seem to be solid. The transom seems to be solid (as of right now). I immediately need to purchase a t-top. I cant be in the sun for hours on end or I end up with a screaming headache. If anyone can point me in the right direction for a top that would be great. I also hate sitting so I need and leaning post. I think I found a good place for that.

    Anyway here's are few pics...

Welcome to CM, clean looking boat. Yes that Leaning post is going to be the best price you will find on one by far I believe.
