First off Hi everyone! This is my first Mako and first center console. I am very excited and think I got a good deal. I'm not quite sure if it is a 78 or 79. Anyway I paid $4500 and the motor runs great. The motor is a 1987 and the previous owner said the stator is new as well as the shift/ throttle cable, steering cable and power trim pump. The floors in the boat all seem to be solid. The transom seems to be solid (as of right now). I immediately need to purchase a t-top. I cant be in the sun for hours on end or I end up with a screaming headache. If anyone can point me in the right direction for a top that would be great. I also hate sitting so I need and leaning post. I think I found a good place for that. http://cuttingedgeboattops.com/Leaning-Post.html

    Anyway here's are few pics...

Welcome to CM, clean looking boat. Yes that Leaning post is going to be the best price you will find on one by far I believe.
