  • newbie---diff between 20,21' Mako cc's

    Hi,

Looking for a mako center console

of 20-21'. The link to mako-boats/old-specs is dead

so I was wondering what the differences

    are between 20' and 21' hulls of 70's - 80s vintages.

(besides the obvious nominal 12 inches).

Sorry I hit the post before finishing my queries.

Do 70's 80s hulls 20' vs 21' hulls just differ in year? weight?

    Deep-V vs mod V? Beam?

Again, looking for a 20 or 21' cc to fix up

    and use a trailer boat.

    thanks

New guy here as well, just finished a 15 foot crutchfield for my son and looking at several 21-24 different year makos. The spec site is great, thanks. Any site out there with the layout of the different models?

The older 20's were a "modified-V". Not a full deep-V, nor a shallow water design. Kind of a cross between.

          The 21's are a much deeper V.

Our 1975 20' is listed about 1600 lbs. The 1979 21' is shown at 2100.
