    what is the recommended sealer for the thru transom engine mounting bolts removing end replacing an Evinrude

    it seems most use 4200 or 5200. this is one area you don't want a lose bolt.

        Have always used Life Caulk - designed for underwater use and never hardens to a point where it break / Use turpentine for cleanup
