  • Rev 4

Test prop from prop gods just showed up 17 p rev 4 currently running a 17 p q3 pretty happy with the q3 performance but I have read good reviews on the rev 4 so I will post my findings ASAP . Boat is a 2000 221 with a 225 pro xs usually runs about 45-48 mph at around 5500 rpm , boat runs 4500 35 mph ,4000 30 mph is this pretty normal?

Thats running pretty dang good, I would say your average or above average for that hull. Those Yamaha's do tend to really put out the power....

Thanks Dave the motor is actually a mercury OptiMaxx sorry for the confusion the rev 4 4 ran really well pretty comparable to the Enertia a little lower on top and pretty much of the same kind of cruise numbers my new best friend Ken at prop gods is sending me a 19 pitch Enertia to try Im hoping to pick up a little more speed with the 19 been playing around with the prop slip calculator and it looks like Ill be close to 48-50
