  • 73__22 Transom rebuild

1973 22 needing a transom rebuild. I've read a lot of threads on the subject and have one question. Look at the picture below, is it standard for this year and model for top to be one piece with the transom? Or has this already been altered?

Trying to decide where to cut into the top to get at the inside of the transom.

I am not to familiar with your Model/Year Mako but it looks very similar to other images on the web.

My guess would be that your transom is original from factory.
