    Hello,

I'm looking at replacing my tanks this year to a single 124 gallon tank. The tank dimensions I received from a friend who swapped his tank on a 1977 25 was 77" long. But looking at his pictures it looked like he could of gotten a couple more inches even with the foam. I was wondering if I could go maybe 79 or 80". If not I guess I'll look into the forward bilge space as a secondary tank.

    Any knowledge would be great.

    Thank you

In my boat the coffin is not dimensionally square. It is smaller at the bottom and more open on the top. Most anyone who has done a tank replacement will tell you, best practice is to duplicate your tank exactly otherwise you may be in for a lot more custom work than you anticipated. Good luck!
