I need to replace my 60 Gal tank (small leak on top when filled, specs requested in older post) but a thought came across my mind to try and not completely waste the summer. If I manually empty the tank and re-configure my hoses to power the motor out of a 12 gallon temporary tank, is that viable? Has anyone done that before? For reference, no fuel in bilge, small amounts up top near sending unit when filling tank. Have not used due to that amount I confirmed.
Would ideally like to replace the tank in the fall and will be replacing anyways, looking for a possibility to use this summer without the risk of becoming a fireball : ) Thank you!
