Starboard.
I’m not familiar with pvc azeck. I did use a few pieces of regular pvc board for a few things, but it wasn’t very dense. It almost had a foamed look when I cut it or tried to rout it. Almost like pot metal or cast iron when you break it. I couldn’t use it for anything that needed to be shaped at all.
Starboard was great to work with. Just had to keep my router bits very sharp.
One issue, it doesn’t bond at all to caulk/sealants, at least any I could find. The instructions say to heat the surface to be bonded ( I think so that the self lubricating quality is diminished) but evidently it’s a real touchy thing. Too much heat and it burns.
I looks awesome! I really want to use starboard for everything but Its so expensive. Azeck is pvc outdoor house trim, like you said its not dense and nicks really easily. I found that Seaboard is basically the same as starboard but a little bit less expensive.
