      • Really nice job! I just finished up a 1979 Mako 182. She will get splashed later this week and then I can mount the poling platform. I too choose a taller one like yours such that I can tilt and jack the motor all the way up and it will clear. Where is your all around stern light?

        • Stern light will be mounted on the aft flange of the fiberglass top which needs painting I carry a portable for a spare so will use that for now

          • I want to thank everyone for their comments and compliments it's been a long haul getting the boat done, started in Early summer 2014, lots of down times for various reasons. Having said that more time to plan each step, I'v done a lot more than I ever first intended but glad that I have. It's been fun now hoping to get it back this week and go fishing.

                              • Optional mounting of the platform back rest on the fore deck

Mounted a receiver on the front of the truck to push the boat, it`s a lot easier to get the boat into a tight spot where you only have inches to spare when you do it this way
