Really nice job! I just finished up a 1979 Mako 182. She will get splashed later this week and then I can mount the poling platform. I too choose a taller one like yours such that I can tilt and jack the motor all the way up and it will clear. Where is your all around stern light?

Stern light will be mounted on the aft flange of the fiberglass top which needs painting I carry a portable for a spare so will use that for now

I want to thank everyone for their comments and compliments it's been a long haul getting the boat done, started in Early summer 2014, lots of down times for various reasons. Having said that more time to plan each step, I'v done a lot more than I ever first intended but glad that I have. It's been fun now hoping to get it back this week and go fishing.

Optional mounting of the platform back rest on the fore deck



Mounted a receiver on the front of the truck to push the boat, it`s a lot easier to get the boat into a tight spot where you only have inches to spare when you do it this way
