  • Mako 252

    Hi,

I'm considering purchasing a 1998 Mako 252. Can anyone that has knowledge of this boat share some of it with me? How are these boats holding up? What is the true deadrise of this boat? Some information says 23 degrees while other information says 20 degees.

Thanks for any and all help,

    JRR

I HAVE A 25'4 1985 CC MAKO, THE DEADRISE IS SOMEWHERE BETWEEN 20 & 23 DEGREES, I HAVE TO TRIM BOTH O.B. DOWN AND TRIM TABS DOWN TO KEEP THE BOAT FROM CAVATATING, ONCE I GET ON PLANE, I TRIM UP BOTH TABS AND TRIM UP BOTH O.BS. RUNS GREAT. SOME GUYS RECOMMEND WEDGING THE ENGINES TO AVOID COMPENSATION.
