  • Another classic snapped up...

Finally took the plunge and just picked up a 1981 20' CC. A very solid boat all around with a 1981 Johnson 115 in great shape and a decent trailer. All Steering and throttle cables just replaced. Some minor gelcoat cracks here and there, but nothing around the transom. It has been covered and used sparingly by an older couple for the past several years so it hasn't been abused at all.

    All complete for $5500.

One of the best values in the range I have come across in a while, so obviously I couldn't turn it down.

I am looking forward to sharing the upgrades and taking advantadge of experience and expertise throughout this forum (keep up the great work)

    Cheers,

    HD

Given I bought the boat on Cape Cod, where the Mako name comes with a price, it is a little reassuring that there are deals out there.

Just to think I could have had a much older 22' with a rebar transom for $3,000 more...without an engine.
