It would be cool to have an east/west or north/south online fishing tournament this spring or summer with the site users. I'm sure we would all be truthful and gentlemen.....NOT!!!

            Livebait,

I know I answered this in another thread, but wanted to jump in here too. I live in Greenwich (Cumberland County) and fish the Delaware Bay. I know there are many other Mako guys lurking around from thier posts on other boards.

I just joined the Forum this morning, although I have been visiting the site for some time now. I am in Southern Maryland and am currently knee deep in a 1973 22' rebuild. Just cut out the fish boxes and splashwell.....tearing up the transom this weekend. I hope to send some pictures soon.

                      Hankster,

I know exactly what you are going through. I need to get some new pictures to Ed to post, but take a look at my project on the main page. Look familiar? What are your plans for the transom? You will soon see the layout for mine on the webpage. I am staying with a notched transom, but the cutout is much smaller than the original (more like a Jones Brothers transom setup). The transom will be almost enclosed, but not quite. I was scared off from a total enclosure and a bracket by fears of creating an ill handling boat.

I live in Brooklawn N.J. and keep the boat in Ocean City during the summer.

Although I'm trying to sell my '69 Mako right now I've loved owning one and am looking at possibly getting another.

I live in Westfield, NJ and have been docking my 1972 Mako19 over on the Rock (Staten Island, NY). I also do some trailering to extend the season on both ends mainly launching out of Shark River. My thanks go out to Eddie as well as the others on this site for providing everyone with a wealth of information here.
