  • I want to thank you guys!

Thanks for coming over to the ClassicMako.com forum! We have over 50 memebers in just a few short days. And the forums are really getting some great topics and fabulous replies!

I know I sent out an e-mail or two to everyone who had e-mailed me about anything Mako in the past, but I'm amazed how many have turned out thus far. I didn't want to blab about this forum on any other forum, so I guess my e-mail and word of mouth has done well for publicity.

Just out of curiosity... If you didn't get the original e-mail from me, how did you find us?

    Just to update everyone....

    1. The e-mail on the forum is still not working(at least mine isn't). I'll have to nail down Cyclops (Our IT guy) and get him to get it all configured and running. To reach me you'll still have to go to [email protected]

    2. A forum member (TeamKazam) has donated his time to update the ClassicMako.com logo and hopefully help out with another logo for the back of a T-shirt. Thanks for your help!!

    3. I am trying to get caught up on posting some more boats to the main webpage as well as some FAQ, reference, and nostalgia type stuff I bought on Ebay. Trust me on this, if the weather is good and the wife doesn't have anything planned... I'm gonna work on my Mako and not the webpage[] So its not personal, I just want to go out in my own boat again! I'll keep you all posted on all that. Any suggestions are more than welcome.

    4. Owners manauls and brochures... Anyone who has any Mako owners manual or brochure... Please contact me. I'll gladly compensate you for some good Photo copies of the manuals. As for brochures, I'd pay for postage to and from so I could scan them... I'm trying hard to make this a good place to go for Mako info.

Thanks again and enjoy the wealth of Mako knowlege and friendship we are building here.

      Eddie-

I have an owners manual for a 1991 Mako 231. I also might still have a copy of the manual for my old 1991 Mako 201.

In addition, I have a copy of the 1990/1991 Mako sales brochure and also a copy of the 1990/1991 Mako price catalog. I am also pretty sure that I can get my hands on Mako brochures for a variety of different years.

Lastly, I have the original bill of sale for my boat when it was purchased from Tuppens.

Let me know what you want copies of and where I should mail them.

Congrats on the Forum... I have been running some firearms forums for years, and am well aware of the heartache and fun that they can be .. You are off to a great start.

Actually its been less work! So far everyone here has been great and I expect with such a small group that centered around a central topic "Mako boats" we shouldn't have any real problems with trolls and BS like that.

The majority of e-mails that I used to get (over 20 per week) are all being posted on the forum and getting answered not only by me, but other guys here who may have a better answer.

Its gonna be some work in the next few weeks to get all the manuals I have asked for posted, but that will taper off as well.

What's the URL's to your firearms forums and does anyone talk about competition pistols?

Particularly I need to know if anyone knows where to get parts for a Walther OSP Match.

                      Thanks in advance,
