  • mako engine cover

Has anyone made an engine cover for their mako like the spanish fly has ( a cover with a cutting board that kills some of the engine noise)

This would be a perfect project to make with 3/8in Divenacell core.

Most of us have opted to just fill the transom notch and add a bracket.

It is funny you brought that topic up. I have wanted to build one for my 224 for a couple of years. Just yesterday I started taking measurements. I'll keep ya posted.

I have the 98 model with room for a single engine. I have been thinking about how to do it. What is divenacell?

          handrelease Read here http://www.classicmako.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=586

          and here http://www.classicmako.com/projects/xshark/

It's PVC foam board. 3/8in thick would be perfect for this.
