Found a couple of 215's in the Boston area, One is a 2004 with a Honda 200 with 400 hours, the other is a 2006 with a Honda 200 with 1000 hours. The 06' has a T=Top the other doesn't.

With other things being equal, do you go with the newer boat with more hours or the older boat with fewer hours?

I say that unless you're going to be putting 600 hours a year on it I wouldn't worry too much about the difference in the hours and focus on which one you like the layout of better and fits your budget better. Also which boat is in better condition. You should get years of service from either engine assuming that they've both been cared for and continue to get cared for correctly.
