171 Weight Calculation

Hi Brett,

I have a 1989 171 and am looking at replacing the trailer. Does the following look correct?

Mako Weight

Hull 1250

Bait boxes 45

Cooler seat 50

Fuel 260

Gear & ice 150

Motor 380

Batteries 80

Total 2215

10% 221.5

Total 2436.5

you also have to figure in the weight of the trailer too. I think my Loadrite galvanized single axle roller trailer weighs about 750 pounds. I think it might be rated for 2600 pounds.
