  • Transducer tilt thru Hull. 20 degrees?

I am eliminating the live well vent thruhull and placing an airmar transducer thruhull in its place. Is it correct to say Id need a thruhull with 20 degree tilt? Going on a Mako 21.

Get an angle finder, measure both sides at the mirror spot, add and divide by two and that's the angle of ducer you need.

I put a 20 degree tilted element transducer in a 21B and it worked great and I did not have a large transducer under the hull to grow stuff....
