Is my boat a 262?

Just bought a mako that says 262 on hull, year is 1994 according to serial number however NADA and bank say that it's a 261b and is a 1993 build. All my research says that a 262 was not but until 1995 but my boat has a euro transom and 262 markings. I swear this things a unicorn.. were 262s built in 1993 or 1994???

Looks like a 262 to me. The 262 is the 241b with eurotransom.

Make the same post in the history thread, original Mako owners son does still monitor the thread and he breaks down HINs.

You must have one of the first eurotransoms, ive seen ones before that were still labeled 241Bs that had eurotransoms but there werent many until they rebadged it

Thanks yall for the replys.. I just got the original survey from the seller.

It is a 1993 build, 1994 model year. Apparently built in Forest City New NC. 4000pb dry weight (wow)

She is a beast for sure.. I guess it's a first production of the 262.. super happy with it..

Has 2017 100 gal fuel tanks, custom hard top and tons of toys.. I will be fishing the brain s out of this boat..
