Mako 282 1995

I know there were transom issues with this build on some boats, however 95 should be a true classic or would have this been when the holding company owned it?

Looking at this 282 1995 :

Would you see a need to totally gut and refinish?

Hoping to just repower, add new tank, and electronics.

Looks like a nice rig and I don't see why you couldn't just run it after checking out the main items.

The issues with the 282 transoms were 97 or 98 to like 2002 so you are good. That is also still the last year it was owned by the original owners. Check it out and run it and you should be good. Just like any 23 year old boat check it over top to bottom
