Anchor lockers...

One thing I want to change on my Mako 25 is the Anchor Storage. I want to add a hatch on the deck or maybe even add a windlass...my back needs the help...so, did you add a hatch or windlass to your Mako? if so add some details and what you would do different.

I'll be doing the same. My foredeck is soft and needs to be cut up and recored anyway. So it's a good time to mold up an anchor locker and hatch. I fly fish up there, so my thoughts were always to keep it clean so no line can snag on it. It may not all happen at once, but my thought it to add a hatch with a small windlass or spool since I don't anchor in deep water. Then install a thru hull anchor roller and matching anchor like the below. Greatlakesskipper has a few
