  • Quality deck hatches?

What brand recommended for quality deck hatches? You must be able to stand on it and its water proof. Lots of options out there but looking for responses with experience

Why not make your own? You cut the hole, install some cleats around the opening and make a hatch to fit down in the hole. Yes some water will get down in the bilge but if you are putting in a hatch over the bilge it shouldn't be any problem. Of course you could get fancy and build a mold with gutters...

Send me your dimensions. I need a project and will try and make one. Heck I could use it also.

I like the look of those glassed ones. Easy to install too. Make one myself? Never thought About that process. No guarantee they are leak free. I one for bilge and kill box.

                Thinking of going with Armstrong
