  • Another Capacity Plate Question

I've looked at a lot of the Capacity Plate discussions but didn't see one that helped me with my specific question. I'm trying to get the data for the capacity plate for my 1992 Classic 241. Does anyone know where I can find this information? I'd like to add the plate back to the boat.

    THANK YOU
    Ed

At the top of the "New Members" Forum it has a stickey that discusses plates. This is from one of the earlier posts. http://www.machineplatesonline.com/

Also, at the top of This forum there is a very long blog "History of Mako" that is visited by "Triple Bogey" who is I believe the son of the original owner of Mako. If for no other reason than just knowledge, it is a good read. He may be able to help with your specific question.

I'm sorry I haven't taken the time to figure out the new ways to post pictures, although I see my old signature boat photo now shows back up, so here is exactly what the info says on my 1995 241.

      Maximum Capacities

      10 persons or 2000 lbs

      3200 Lbs persons, motor, gear

      400.0 HP Max

also has the last 3 of the hull ID stamped and the model of M-241 along with a bunch of other wording.

      Hope this helps

You can order a new decal to replace your cpacity plate. I used this link to get my new one ordered. It looks great.
