Where is factory battery location on 83 211

Just picked up a 211 and it has two batteries one on each side in the back in the small deep boxes near the motor. Not sure if it's factory as I didn't see any hardware and they are just sitting there

Looks like it was under the console. See the link for the owners manual. Might not be for the exact year but best I could do.

if I had to guess deep in those boxes is prob the factory location but many people move them to the console to get the weight forward
