Wrong time to buy I know but This one looks pretty clean. Has a few gel coat cracks but nothing like the others Ive looked at. Motor is an 07 with 360 hours. Original fuel tank bit the owner says its only hand non ethanol gas run through it. Sea trailed it yesterday had a few issues form not being ran in awhile but the owner says he would take care of them. The motor stumbled at hiogher rpms but that went away as we ran it more and it seems to have a miss at idle. Hes having the fuel filter and plugs changed at the shop this week and we will take it out again. The motor wide open 6200 rpms was at 36mph and at cruise 4800 was at 28. The cruise rpm seems high? He said he thinks the tach may be off due to switching to four stroke. His bottom dollar is 19k?

That sure is a pretty 221. Very Clean. The transom looks to be at least modded. My 221 is a 91. The transom does not look like that. The Console is way different. That said it looks very well and functionally laid out. The motor and fuel tank are gambles. You indicate non-ethanol.... that is not what makes tanks go bad ultimately. Salt water intrusion, corrosion. I would pay a qualified mechanic to look at the motor. I would price out the boat, motor, trailer. That is what u pay. In that ball park. Electronics, unless its a really high end rig, go with the boat.. This is not a new boat where u list price all the components. It sweetens the deal.. Still sounds pricy. Do not know what he has in it.. What is so expensive.....the OLD boat or the 2007 Suzuki 225..... what does that thing weigh i bet its way heavy. How does the boat ride in various sea states... 4 stroke 225s are heavy. $15,000. All this is IMO.

Thanks for the info, problem is around here clean CC's bring $$$. Hes had the boat for the last 7 years and has kept on the Chickahominy river. I tried to offer 17k but wasnt having any part of it. He has it at the shop now they're changing plugs and filters and are going to try a couple different props out on it.

I believe that is an original transom. I have seen a few late 90's (95-96) hulls that built up sides like my modification. I agree that the price is high, but anything is worth what someone is willing to pay. You could wait it out and see if he will accept less, but run the risk of it selling; I have been surprised in the past what people have paid for boats. Appears to be a well cared for boat in great shape.

Its a 22 not a 221 and the transom appears original, the 22 is about a foot shorter and 400 pounds lighter then the 221 but has the same deadrise. The 221 in 95 was rebadged the 231 and the 221B became the 232. This is the same boat as the 211 of the 90's pre tracker

couple things seems off I agree might not be a 221? 221 should have the Cpac console maybe? That looks like a console off a 20-21, the rub rail looks like that could be a tuppens edition? Unless someone modified, no way I see that selling for close to that price
