  • Trying to cleaning t top

    I ve used woodys wax which was supposed to be a great product to clean up oxidized aluminum. Didnt work at all. Any suggestions ?

    You can try flitz but if its pitted you're not gonna see too much improvement.

      Bronze wool will help out greatly. Deeply pitted aluminum will become smoother to say but the pits will still be there. Plus the bronze wool filings wont rust on your deck. Colinite metal wax is the only thing that I have found to really work after the bronze wool treatment.

        PA is right on with bronze wool etc treatment, will likely get it as nice as possible. Unless there's something else I've never heard of

            As mentioned, if deeply pitted, it is difficult at best to clean up.

            For light to moderate oxidation, I have found that Woody Wax spray works well. You apply it and let it sit for a few minutes or a whole day. I think there are several Woody wax products now and I am not sure of the exact product name for the one(s) that clean metal
