A funny thing happened just the other day. I was doing a shakedown.... checking out the live well etc out of the C24 boat ramp in port St Lucie.. Arrived here 1 Dec 2017. Out in the middle of the St Lucie river, i found a black box floating.. Well actually the "old Girl" saw it... So i got it did not think too much about it... The live well... 30 gallon on deck....works fine. Later, did some casting, caught a nice jack....when i got home and cleaned up etc... at some point i looked up the kit. found it is YDIS 2.0 Starter test kit... I contacted a marine warehouse distributor and they told me that they could not sell it to me since i was not a dealer etc... the retail price however, is 1,490$.. On a whim of fancy i Called Sovereign Marine in Stewart, FL...And so i get the service manager, a woman, and i say a funny thing happened ..... i say a black box ... she says a YDIS 2.0... i say how did u know.... hold on let me put on the tech, Kevin... who lost /misplaced/whatever the kit. Long story short i took it down to Kevin who said to me "I owe you" i said I KNOW YOU DO... Alas, I have an Evinrude G2... he is a yammi guy...I was happy to help Kevin, the service woman and Sovereign Marine...Truth Justice ad the American way and BLUE CHIP at Sovereign Marine.
