I have a weep hole at the bottom of my outboard bracket. It had a plastic threaded plug in it wich broke. I cant seem to find a replacement. A 5/8-18 tap seems to thread in pretty well. Im thinking about putting in a short ss bolt. Any ideas on were I couldfind the proper plug?

Most people will use the bolt. I currently do not have a threaded hole but want to add one.

YES !!! Using a stainless bolt on an aluminum bracket will start galvanic corrosion, and you don't want that. So either the same metal, or plastic.
