  • New Angler Purchase

So I bought this boat today. In great shape, she just needs to be put back together. I'll be looking for advice for an engine as well as looking for your ideas on all the finish work. I have the original teak trim, but probably will not put it back as I want a low maintenance boat. So excited to say that I finally own a piece of Mako history. I grew up in South Florida and Makos were everywhere. Can't wait to get her finished and back in the water. These pictures are from the ad here. I'll get new ones if anyone has requests.

The 90 hp engines are all around good fit for the boat. Cruise all day at 20-30 mph netting 5-6 miles per gallon. A 115 will run the boat 5 mph faster at the same rpm (assuming spinning a large wheel). I don't know what your plans for the boat are and how far you will typically be running.
